The weekend of 8 - 10 May would have been a period of national commemoration for the 75th Anniversary of VE Day, which marked the end of the Second World War against Germany. The Ruddington Parish Council have organised a 'Stay At Home Street Party' for Friday 8 May, so we can all still celebrate!
